Job Summary
The Training & Retention Coordinator will be the advocate for the development of a continuous learning culture at PKF Texas. Will be responsible for the assessment of organizational learning capabilities, development of methods to maximize the learning of employees, training records maintenance, organization and implementation of all training programs, and implementation of resource sharing as a way to enhance firm-wide learning. Responsible for new hire and anniversary orders, new hire onboarding and assist with the organization of firm retention events.
Knowledge Capital & Technical Abilities:
- Develop clear understanding in the use of all technology and applicable software packages, including Microsoft 365, HRIS, and LC Vista as necessary for performance execution.
- Grasps concepts and asks the right questions which demonstrate knowledge of basic technical skills, as well as related knowledge of necessary systems and procedures. Request supervision when in need of assistance.
- Makes well thought out decisions and considers all facts and relevant information prior to making final conclusions.
- Evaluates facts efficiently and thinks through implications of actions and makes timely decisions.
- Possesses good people skills in order to connect and build trust with internal team members.
- Has excellent written/oral communication skills.
- Recognizes technical issues and conducts appropriate research to assist management in solving problems.
- Attends firm CPE where appropriate as requested by supervisor.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
The employee frequently is required to walk, sit, and talk or hear. Since a majority of the work at this level is on the computer, the individual must be able to sit for long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus to work with PC. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
